Over the March long weekend, our wellness retreat offers a gentle rhythm of nourishing activities and unhurried free time, designed to restore balance in both body and mind.
Your journey begins on Friday afternoon, as you arrive and settle in. After time to unwind, we’ll gather in a welcoming circle to share intentions, followed by a nourishing dinner. The evening closes with a motivating goal setting workshop focusing on what wellness means to you & how this might look over the coming days & months ahead. Some of you may like a warm magnesium float in our heated indoor pool, before hopping into the very comfy retreat house beds.
On Saturday, wake up to the sounds of the ocean waves & start with a morning stretch. A wholesome breakfast awaits before stepping outside for a mindful nature walk—an invitation to reconnect with the earth and yourself. The afternoon allows for spacious free time, especially for those adding on a facial or sauna, followed by a hands-on aromatherapy workshop with organic essential oils, as a gift to yourself to take home for some special self care. As the day softens into evening, we share dinner together, with another guided wellness session, followed by a quiet night of journaling or a wholesome movie in our group lounge.
Sunday unfolds with a fun surf or cold water plunge for adventure seekers, or a slow sleep in for those that need rest. We will re-group and set off on a short walk along the esplanade to enjoy a nourishing brunch at a local cafe and soak up the community vibes of Turners Beach. The afternoon allows free time to simply be—rest, explore, or connect. The Taswellness library has some beautiful inspiring wellness books to look through with two lounge areas for quiet reading. Late afternoon, we will gather for a grounding session with Belinda on somatic coping strategies, supporting mind-body balance, learning new skills for mental health & wellness. The evening flows into a shared dinner and ends with a very relaxing deep sleep meditation on our mezzanine floor, with the gentle ocean breeze & wave sounds directly across the road, preparing you for a night of complete rest.
On Monday morning, we have free time for morning movement then share a final breakfast. Our group session will lead us across the road to the beach to build a small stone tower, with the beautiful stones on Turners Beach; a calming mindfulness activity to symbolise your retreat journey & the peace it has created. We will close our time together with a cacao circle—a heart-opening ritual to seal the experience with gratitude and connection.
For those who wish to deepen their self-care, optional indulgences are also available: a blissful one-hour sculptural facial massage or a traditional sauna session, each offered at an additional cost in your free time.
